Prophet Moosa AS and the Pharaoh
A long, long time ago, in the ancient land of Egypt, there lived a mighty ruler known as Pharaoh.
Pharaoh was a powerful king, but he was also very cruel and unkind to the people of Egypt.
He made the Children of Israel work hard as slaves and treated them terribly.
In this time of hardship, a special baby was born. His name was Musa (AS), and Allah had chosen him for a very important mission.
When baby Musa (AS) was born, his mother feared for his safety because Pharaoh had ordered all newborn boys to be taken away.
One night, guided by Allah, Musa’s (AS) mother placed him in a small basket made of reeds. With a heart full of hope and prayers, she set the basket gently on the River Nile.
The current carried baby Musa (AS) down the river, keeping him safe and hidden.
Allah’s protection was always with baby Musa (AS). The basket floated gently to a grand palace, where it was found by Pharaoh’s wife. She was kind-hearted and took the baby in, raising him as her own child, not knowing that he was destined to be a prophet.
As Musa (AS) grew up in the palace, he was loved and cared for. But deep inside, Musa (AS) knew that he was different. He had a pure heart and a strong sense of justice. One day, he discovered the truth about his people and realized that he had to help them.
Allah spoke to Musa (AS) and gave him a special mission. He was to go to Pharaoh and ask him to free the Children of Israel from slavery. Musa (AS) was afraid, but Allah reassured him, giving him signs and miracles to show Pharaoh.
With a heart full of faith, Musa (AS) went to Pharaoh and delivered Allah’s message. But Pharaoh was stubborn and his heart was hard.
He refused to listen and made life even harder for the people. Despite this, Musa (AS) stayed patient and obeyed Allah’s commands.
One of the miracles Allah gave Musa (AS) was a staff that turned into a snake. But even this did not soften Pharaoh’s heart.
Finally, Allah commanded Musa (AS) to lead his people out of Egypt.
On their journey, they reached the edge of the Red Sea with Pharaoh’s army close behind.
In that moment of great fear and hope, Allah performed a miraculous sign. Musa (AS) struck the sea with his staff, and the waters parted, creating a clear path for the people to cross. They walked safely to the other side, guided by Musa (AS) and protected by Allah.
Pharaoh and his army chased after them…
But as soon as the Children of Israel were safe, the sea closed back over, drowning Pharaoh and his soldiers.
Allah’s power and mercy were shown to everyone, and Musa (AS) led his people to freedom.
Through the story of Prophet Musa (AS), we learn important lessons. We learn to trust in Allah, to stay firm in our faith, and to seek His guidance and mercy. Just like Musa (AS), we can overcome challenges and find the strength to do what is right, knowing that Allah is always with us.
And so, dear children, remember the brave journey of Prophet Musa (AS). Keep faith in your heart, trust in Allah’s plan, and always strive to do good. With Allah’s help, you can achieve great things and be a beacon of light for others.
